Jerry L. Zeno

Jerry L. Zino, age 91 a longtime resident of Romeoville since 1964 passed away on Friday, February 2, 2024 at the Meadowbrook Manor Bolingbrook. He was born December 28, 1932 in Melrose Park, Illinois to the union of Joseph and Jennie (Inzinna) Zeno. On May 14, 1960 at St. Domitillo Church in Berkley, Illinois he marries Susan LaPaglia and the happy couple started their family.  Jerry retired as an inspector at Electro-Motive Corporation (EMC), a subsidiary of GM. Long time member and usher at St. Andrew the Apostle Church, Romeoville. Member of the Lockport Moose Lodge and the Little People of America (LPA). Jerry and his wife loved going out dancing every week, he loved playing the organ, piano, accordion and tried his hand in playing the guitar he even wrote a song for his wife. His favorite activity was going roller skating. Jerry was a people person always making others feel welcome and accepted, he had a joy for life, quick sense of humor and a soft shoe dance step which he would glide his way into your heart.  His love and protection for his wife and daughter was a top priority for him, they were the loves of his life.

Beloved husband of the late Susan on August 12, 2012. Loving father of Laureen (Thomas) Lash of Chicago, Fond grandfather of Diana Lash, Cherished Godfather of Karen Elwood and Grace Koskinen. Dear brother of the late James Zeno, late Charles Zeno, late Sam Zeno, late Julia Zeno, late Sarah (late Louie) Morelli, late Agnes (late Erve) Wettour, late Angelina (late Whitey) Last, late Frances (Burton) Benson, Jeanette (late Edwin) Rees, late Richard Zeno and the late Joseph Zeno. Devoted uncle to many.

Visitation Thursday, February 8, 2024 from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. and on Friday, February 9, 2024 from 8:30 AM until time of prayers at 9:30 A.M. at the Anderson-Goodale Memorial Home, 606 Town Hall Drive, Romeoville, Illinois to Saint Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church, Romeoville, Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery, Romeoville.
