Alberto Santo Ugolini age 77 of Highwood passed away peacefully on Thursday morning December 21, 2023 at his home. Born August 14, 1946 in Sant'Anna Pelago, Modena, Italy to the union of Giovanni and Teresa (Piacenza) Ugolini he was raised and educated in Italy and worked as a baker in Tirrenia, Italy. He immigrated to Highwood, Illinois in 1966 and with his friend Luigi Lunardi they started up their own custom auto painting company. On September 7, 1969 at St. James Church, Highwood he married Jane Tamarri and the couple started their family. Alberto was a former member of the Giovane Italia Club and a member of the Modenesa Society and a member and president of the Highwood Bocce Ball Club.

Visitation Saturday, December 23, from 8:30 A.M. until time of funeral mass 10:00 A.M. at Christ our Hope Parish, (Immaculate Conception Campus) 770 Deerfield Road, Highland Park. Rev. Hernan Cuevas, celebrant. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Alberto's memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation www.alzfdn.org and would be appreciated.
