Alejandro A. Horbatenko, de 75 años, de Twin Lakes, WI, formalmente de Chicago, IL y Argentina, falleció el miércoles 11 de diciembre de 2024 en el Aurora St. Luke's Medical Center en Milwaukee, WI. Nació el 9 de diciembre de 1949 en Buenos Aires, Argentina. Era el menor de dos hijos nacidos de la unión de Demetrio y Alejandra Horbatenko. Eventualmente emigró a los Estados Unidos. Sasha, como lo conocían todos sus amigos, fue un elemento básico de 7 Mile Fair durante más de treinta años vendiendo atención médica y tratamientos médicos tópicos.
A Sasha le sobreviven su esposa de más de 51 años, Gloria Horbatenko nee: Escobar de McHenry, IL, sus hijas; Ivana (Israel) Mendoza de Twin Lakes, WI, Eliana (German) Ibanéz de Chicago, IL, Alexia (Luis) De Anda de Lindenhurst, IL, y su hijo; Alejandro (Maria) Horbatenko de Fox Lake, IL, sus nietos; Ingrid, Nicole, Alan, Demetrio, Bella, Alexander y Maximilien, su sobrina; Christina Horbatenko de Indiana, precedido en la muerte por sus padres y su hermano; Eugene Horbatenko.
El velatorio se llevará a cabo de 10:00 a. m. a 12:00 p. m. el sábado 14 de diciembre de 2024 en la funeraria Symonds Lakes Funeral Home, 111 W. Belvidere Rd. Grayslake, IL 60030. La misa fúnebre se celebrará a la 1:00 p. m. en el monasterio serbio New Gracanica, seguida del entierro en el cementerio del monasterio. Alejandro A. Horbatenko 75 of Twin Lakes, WI, formally of Chicago, IL and Argentina, passed away Wednesday, December 11, 2024 at the Aurora St. Luke’s Medical Center in Milwaukee, WI, He was born December 9, 1949 in Buenos Aires, Argentina, he was the younger of two son born to the union of Demetrio & Alejandra Horbatenko, he eventually immigrated to the United States.  Sasha as he was known by all of his friends, was a staple of the Seven Mile Fair for over thirty years selling health care, and topical medical treatments.

Sasha is survived by his wife of over 51 years, Gloria Horbatenko nee: Escobar of McHenry, IL, his daughters; Ivana (Israel) Mendoza of Twin Lakes, WI, Eliana (German) Ibanéz of Chicago, IL, Alexia (Luis) De Anda of Lindenhurst, IL, and son; Alejandro (Maria) Horbatenko of Fox Lake, IL, his grandchildren; Ingrid, Nicole, Alan, Demetrio, Bella, Alexander, and Maximilien, his niece; Christina Horbatenko of Indiana, preceded in death by his parents and his brother; Eugene Horbatenko.

Visitation will be held 10:00 AM to 12:00 Noon Saturday, December 14, 2024 at the Symonds Lakes Funeral Home 111 W. Belvidere Rd. Grayslake, IL 60030, Funeral Mass will be celebrated 1:00 PMat the New Gracanica Serbian Monastery, followed by interment in the monastery cemetery, for additional information please contact the funeral home at 847-543-1080
