Alexandru Dobrescu

Alexandru Dobrescu, age 87 of Chicago passed away on Saturday, November 26, 2022 at home. Born July 3, 1935 in Poiana Mărului, Brașov, Romania. On August 8th 1955 he married Virginia and they started their family. On December 12, 1984 at the age of 49 he immigrated with his family to Chicago thru Italy.  Alexandru served as the assistant pastor and was on the elder board of Logos Baptist Ministries, Niles, Illinois.

Beloved husband of the late Virginia. Loving father of Magdalina (George) Enescu of Chicago, Ileana (late Daniel) Tanase of Bloomingdale, Lidia (Gian-Franco) Pagliari of La Spezia, Italy, Viorel (Carmen) Dobrescu of Hanover Park, Ioan (Rahela) Dobrescu of Valrico, FL, Cornel (Diana) Dobrescu of Algonquin, Daniel (Delia) Dobrescu of Algonquin and Sebastian (Kimberly) Dobrescu of Westchester. Fond grandfather of 18, Great grandfather of 5.
