Ana Pastiu

With deepest sadness and heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved wife and mother Ana Pastiu, on February 20th 2025 at the age of 82. 

She was born on April 12, 1943, in Daia Romana, county of Alba, Romania. Full of passion and love for God and people Ana was a beacon of faith by which many came to know Christ. A devoted wife, loving mother, a tireless grandmother and great-grandmother, dear sister, loyal friend and most of all a compassionate woman for lost souls.

Ana’s greatest joy was to teach the Word of God with great authority and conviction to each and every person she met. Praising her Savior through her songs and above all, finding fulfillment in loving and caring for those around her. 

Ana leaves behind treasures of steadfast love, hope and unwavering faith. She is survived by her husband Gheroghe Pastiu, five children Maria, Nick, Anca, Lidia and Tabita; thirteen grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren who will carry her in their hearts forever.

Join us in a service to honor Ana’s life held on Thursday, February the 27th, 2025 at Seguin & Symonds Funeral Home 858 Sheridan Rd, Highwood IL 60040 starting at 6:00pm. 

Burial service will start at 10:00am on Friday, February 28th, 2025 at Symonds Funeral Home, followed by a procession to Wilmot Cemetery in Twin Lakes, WI 53181

With broken hearts we are saying goodbye dear mother, for now; and one day we will all be together again but until then we will miss you greatly. 

We Love you Mama, and Dad loves you even more.
