Anna Schnitzler 89, of Round Lake Beach, IL passed away at her home Thursday, November 9, 2023, She was born November 3, 1934 in Yugoslavia, she was a WWII concentration camp survivor, she was the only one of her family to survive leaving her parents and two sisters behind, at the age of twenty she met and married her husband of 46 years Kristof Schnitzler, they both immigrated to the northern suburbs of Chicago in 1956 where Anna was a domestic house keeper for several Lake County families and St. Clements Parish in Chicago.
Anna is survived by her daughters; Eva (the late Louis) Mason of Round Lake Beach, and Mary (the late Jeffrey) Reitz of Kansasville, WI, grandchildren; David (Erin) Schnitzler of Palatine, and Maquel (Trevor) Burbach of Kansasville, WI, great grandchildren; Marlo and Knoxli Burbach, and Remington Schnitzler, preceded in death by her husband Kristof Schnitzler, her parents and two sisters.
Memorial gathering will be held 11:00 A.M. until time of memorial service at 12 Noon, Saturday, November 18, 2023, Rev, David Castleberry, officiating, at the Symonds Lakes Funeral Home 111 W.
