Anselmo "Chemo" Carranza Sanchez age 25 of Waukegan passed away suddenly Friday, May 31, 2024 at Vista East Medical Center, Waukegan. He was born July 6, 1998 at Evanston Hospital, Evanston, Illinois to the union of Prisciliano Carranza Vargas and Keren Sanchez Hernandez. Growing up in Highwood and Waukegan Chemo was a young man with a good sense of humor, he loved to read and enjoyed pop and R&B music.

Beloved son of Keren and the late Prisciliano on November 3, 2020. Loving brother of Francisco (Reyna Martinez) Carranza, Victor Manuel Carranza, Faustino (Claudia Juarez) Carranza, Urbano (Veronica Gaspar) Carranza, the late Marcela Carranza, Roman Carranza, Hilda (Alfonso) Peralta, Norberta (Daniel) Gomez, Edith Carranza, Florentina Carranza, the late Enedina Carranza, Prisciliano Carranza, Jr. and Yasmin Carranza. Fond uncle of Jose Manuel, Hector, Sidney, Roberto, Cesar, Alexander, Jerry, Ivan, Giovanni, Omar, Carlos, Raul, Juan, Rafaela, Melissa, David, Yesenia, Griselda, Michelle, Yareli, Emmanuel, Anahi, Mariela, Evelyn, Natalie, Santiago, Jayleen, Zayden, Jordan and Alessandria  Great uncle of 14. 

Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 6, 2024 from 10:00 A.M until time of service 1:00 P.M. at the Seguin & Symonds Funeral Home, 858 Sheridan Road, Highwood, Illinois. Interment will follow at Ascension Catholic Cemetery, 1920 Buckley Road, Libertyville, Illinois.
