Anthony "Geo" Giovanni Mijares

Anthony "Geo" Giovanni Mijares, age 28, of Mundelein passed away suddenly on Saturday morning, September 23, 2023 at home. He was born on May 6, 1995 in Libertyville, Illinois at Advocate Condell Medical Center. Geo loved fishing with his mom at Lake Michigan, spending time with family and friends, video gaming, and riding motorcycles. He always had a happy go lucky personality and his presence will be missed. 

Beloved son to Carmela Salazar. Loving brother to the late Alonzo A. Zurita. Dear grandson to Ana M. Salazar. Dear nephew to Maria T. Bueno, the late Alfonso Salazar, and the late John Salazar. Cherished cousin to many. 

A visitation will be taking place Thursday, September 28, 2023 from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Symonds-Lakes Funeral Home 111 W. Belvidere Road, Grayslake, IL 60030.

Visitation Friday, September 29, 2023 at 9:00 A.M. until time of funeral mass at 10:00 A.M. at Santa María del Popolo 116 N Lake St, Mundelein, IL 60060. 

Interment to follow at Ascension Catholic Cemetery 1920 Buckley Rd, Libertyville, IL 60048.
