Antonio Gill, Jr.

Antonio Gil Jr., beloved husband, father, son, uncle, and brother, passed away on February 15, 2025 in Round Lake Beach, Illinois at the age of 60. He was born on December 27, 1964 in Arecibo, Puerto Rico to Antonio Gil Torres and Maria Magdalena Santiago Torres, and married the love of his life, Ana Ibis Gil, in August of 1996.

Antonio was known for his incredible singing voice, which he loved to showcase at home and in his church group. He loved to dance salsa and read books, especially books written by Stephen King. He had a playful spirit and was always down to play games and tell jokes. He was a lovely husband and deeply loved his wife who unfortunately passed away on November 8th, 2024. 

Antonio had one child, Andre Amaris Gil whom he nurtured with his natural paternal skills.  An exceptionally wonderful father was definitely something you could say would describe Antonio as he was always looking out for his son and entertaining him for hours with his hilarious imagination. Along with that, he had an orange cat named Yggy, which he loved very much. He will be missed by all who knew him, especially those who were lucky enough to witness his unforgettable humor, great singing voice, stories, and loving personality. Antonio, may you rest peacefully in the kingdom of heaven.
