Barbara St. Germaine

Barbara St. Germaine (nee Smith), 72, made her journey home June 28, 2022 surrounded by her loving family in Chicago, Illinois.  Born October 12, 1949 in Detroit, MI.  She was an enrolled member of the Grand Traverse Band of Ottawa and Chippewa Indians and is preceded in death by her Parents, Joseph & Helen Smith, Brother Gary (Anna) and sister Arlene.   She is survived by her 8 children – Annette, Celeste (Jeffrey), Clarissa, Cynthia (Lazar), Camille, Kelly Jo (Christan) and son Kyle.  She is also survived by 19 Grandchildren and 12 Great-grandchildren.  Barbara’s great loves were her children and grandchildren.  She also had a great passion for her beadwork, her bingo and the casino.   Please join us in celebrating her life.
