Beatrice Caselli Obituary

Beatrice Mae Caselli, a lifelong resident of Highwood, Illinois, passed away peacefully on July 10, 2026, at the age of 93.

Born on May 5, 1933, in Highland Park, Beatrice was the beloved daughter of Charles  and Olga (Gherardini) Palmieri. She graduated from Highland Park High School with the Class of 1951 and remained devoted to the community she called home throughout her life.

On June 7, 1952, Beatrice married the love of her life, Deno Caselli, at Saint James Church in Highwood. Together they shared 58 wonderful years of marriage until Deno's passing. Their life together was built on faith, family, and a deep commitment to one another.

Beatrice was an active member of several local organizations throughout the years. She was a proud member of the former Italian women's social club, the Cuore Arte Club, Women of the Moose – Highland Park Chapter, and the Highland Park Women's Club. She treasured the friendships she made through these organizations and enjoyed giving back to her community.

Above all, Beatrice's greatest joy was her family. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose love, kindness, and unwavering support will be remembered always.

She is survived by her children, Debra (Steven Magurany) Wilcox and Robert (Mary) Caselli; her grandchildren, Jason (Kristina) Wilcox, Janelle (James) McKenna, Robert (Kristin) Caselli, and Michelle (Benjamin) Hill; her great-grandchildren, Kelsey Leal(Ben Alexa), Natalie Mae, Raelyn Marie, Deegan Clodus, Addison Rose, Scarlett Lee, Harper Michelle, Robert James "RJ", and Connor Charles; her niece, Kimberly Loughlin; her great-nephew, Riley Loughlin; and many extended family members and dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Deno Caselli, and her parents, Charles and Olga (Gherardini) Palmieri and a  sister Loretta (Thomas) Loughlin.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. at Christ Our Hope Parish – Saint James Church, 134 North Avenue, Highwood, Illinois.
