Carol Katherine (Tunk) O'Brien

Carol Katherine O’Brien nee: Tunk, 75, of Hainesville, IL passed away Sunday, October 10, 2021 at the Condell Medical Center of Libertyville, she was born September 21, 1946 in Downers Grove, IL, and was the fourth child of eight born to the union of Walter and Florence Tunk.

Carol is survived by her husband of 41 years Daniel W. O’Brien of Hainesville, IL, her son; Daniel F. (Jillian Clayton) Obrien of Lindenhurst, and her daughter; Kathy (Edwardo) Mata of Round Lake, IL, her grandchildren; Rhett O’Brien, Ryan, Mia, and Mackenzie Mata, her brothers and sisters; the late Walter Tunk, the late Carl (Mary Anne) Tunk of Amboy, IL, Janet (the late Robert) Spinner of Downers Grove, IL, Frederick Tunk of Glendale Heights, IL, Scott Delaney of Glendale Heights, IL, Joyce (George) Petkunas of Palatine, IL, and Robert Delaney of Olney, IL, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, preceded in death by her parents Walter & Florence Tunk, her stepfather Daniel Delaney, and 2 brothers; Walter and Carl Tunk.
