Carole Ann Hethcoat

Carole Ann Hethcoat, age 66, of Evanston, Illinois passed away suddenly on Monday, April 10, 2023 at her home. Born October 20,1956 in Chicago, Illinois to the union of Edward Lee and Shirley Jean (Ackerman) Eaker. She attended Kelvyn Park High School, Chicago. On December 7, 1979 at Chicago City Hall she married John Frank Hethcoat, Jr.  Carole worked for Helene Curtis and then Alberto Culver in Melrose Park. Some of her favorite things to do were playing the lottery and scratch offs while enjoying her drink of choice Pepsi.  Mostly she enjoyed time spent with her family, playing poker, back alley and going to the casino.

Beloved wife of John. Loving mother of Rhiannon. Dear sister of the late Judith (late L.C.) Newsome, Charmaine Haerle, Lawrence (JoAnne) Haerle and Michael Eaker. Fond aunt to many.  Most importantly was her fur baby Cooper and grand fur babies Gizmo, Scrappy and Jordan.

Visitation Saturday, April 22, 2023 from 2:00 PM until time of funeral service 5:00 PM at the Seguin & Symonds Funeral Home, 858 Sheridan Road, Highwood. Rev. Kenneth Anderson pastor of St. Athanasius Parish, Evanston will be officiating.  

Friends will gather starting around 1:00 PM on Friday, April 28, 2023 at the funeral home and process to Fort Sheridan National Cemetery, Highwood, Illinois at 1:50 PM for a 2:00 PM comital service.
