Celeste “Celi” St.Germaine-Nawcewicz (Ezhinoodinokwe) made her journey home in the early hours of November 23rd, 2023. She was surrounded by her loving family and friends. She was an enrolled member of the Lac Du Flambeau Band of Lake Superior Chippewa Indians and is preceded in death by her loving mother Barbara St.Germaine. She is survived by the love of her life, her husband Jeffrey, father Paul St. Germaine, daughters Arissa (Erich), and Wynona. She is also survived by her 7 siblings: Annette, Clarissa, Catheryn, Cynthia, Camille, Kelly Jo (Christian), and brother Kyle.
Celi’s great loves were her grandchildren
Diyami Jr., Evan, Jolie, Ozzy, and Chase.
Celi was the light of the St.Germaine family. She had so many friends and was passionate about being an indigenous woman, loved going to powwows and buying beaded earrings. She loved shopping, reading, and was an outstanding cook. Everyone who knows her knows she had an incredible sense of humor with a contagious laugh. She was also a die-hard Packer fan and was obsessed with Tom Petty. She touched a lot of lives in her 51 years with us and will be missed by many! Please join us in celebrating her life.
