Charles "Chuck" John Lantz

Charles “Chuck” John Lantz, 80, US Army Vietnam Veteran, passed away Thursday, January 5, 2023, in Barrington, IL, he was born August 25, 1942, in Chicago, IL and was the oldest of five children born to the union of Peter and Lucille Lantz. Chuck was a 45-year retiree of the Sheet Metal Workers Union Local #73.

Chuck is survived by his wife of 45 years Jean Lantz of Round Lake, IL, his children; Mark (Heather) Lantz of Bristol, WI, Jeannie Williams of FL, Heather Smith of Raleigh, NC, and Karen (John) Bounincontro of Elk Grove Village, IL, his grandsons; Kyle, Braxton, and Bentley Lantz, his brother; Ronald (Linda) Lantz of Round Lake, IL, his sister; Rosemary (Richard) Stamer of Collingswood, NJ, and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Preceded in death by his parents; Peter and Lucille Lantz, brothers; Nicholas and James Lantz.

A memorial visitation will be held from 2:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M. Saturday, January 14, 2023, at the Symonds Lakes Funeral Home 111 W. Belvidere Rd.
