Concetta Stangarone

Concetta Stangarone, age 92 of Lake Forest passed away on Saturday, August 23, 2025 at her home. Born on October 10, 1932 in Valanzano, Bari, Italy to the union of John and Concetta (Bellino) Venisti. in 1955 she married the love of her life Vito and the couple shortly after immigrated to the United States. Concetta worked as a seamstress for John Stevens of Highland Park.

Survivors include her 3 sons Nick, John and Anthony (Tiffany Mietzner) and a niece Margherita Giusti.

She is preceded in death by her husband Vito and a sister Maria (late Paolo) Giusti

Visitation Wednesday, August 27, 2025 from 10:00 A.M. until time of funeral service 11:00 A.M. at Seguin & Symonds Funeral Home, 858 Sheridan Road, Highwood, IL Rev. Hernan Cuevas, celebrant. Entombment will follow at Ascension Cemetery, Libertyville, IL.
