Corina Buenaventura, a lifetime Catholic, a Philippines native and a resident of Chicago, Illinois passed away with her husband at her side in the early morning of Friday, June 24, 2022 after her battle with cancer.
Corina was born January 8, 1962 and grew up in the Philippines, graduated both high school and college, eventually graduating with her nursing degree. She came to America for a better life that she could give her family. Corina was a devoted wife and mother. She worked in the medical field as a nurse and/or caregiver. She had a sense for fashion, you would always see her in her best outfits during any outing. She loved to sing and could light up a room with her voice.

Visitation Friday, July 1, 2022 starting at 1:00 PM with an open casket until time of funeral mass 3:00 PM where where we will celebrate the life of Corina in the Mass of Christian Burial at St. Padre Pio Parish at the Church of St. Hilary, 5601 N. California Avenue., Chicago, IL Interment will take place in the Philippines.
A reception will follow at Lou Malnati's Pizzeria, 6649N. Lincoln Avenue, Lincolnwood, IL from 4:30 until 6:30 PM
