Cristina Lenzini

Cristina Lenzini, age 103 of Highwood passed away peacefully at her Highwood home on Wednesday morning, June 22, 2022. She was born on September 1, 1918 in Sant'Anna Pelago, Modena, Italy to the union of Francesco and Consiglia (Bartolai) Bernardi. She was a homemaker and was a member of St. James Church, Highwood, the Sacred Heart Guild of St. James Church and the former Italian Women's Prosperity Club.

Beloved wife of the late Amedeo Lenzini on February 12, 2007. Loving mother of Albert (late Pricella) Lenzini of Antioch, Rachele (late Rexford) Wright of Lake Forest and. John (Pat) Lenzini of Highwood. Fond nonna of 12, bis nonna of 10, bis bis nonna of 2. Dear sister of the late Santi (Rina) Bernardi of Sassaulo, Modena, Italy, late Annunziata (late Bartolo) Ori of Pievepelago, Modena, Italy and the late Rosina (late Ettore) Giannasi of Sant'Anna Pelago, Modena, Italy. Visitation Saturday, June 25, 2022 from 9:00 A.M. until time of mass 11:00 A.M. at Saint James Church, 134 North Avenue, Highwood. Rev. JoAndre Beltran, celebrant. Interment will follow at Ascension Cemetery, 1920 Buckley Road, Libertyville, Illinois.  In lieu of flowers masses appreciated.
