Daniel John Gianotti

Daniel John Gianotti, age 67 of Chicago passed away peacefully Monday, January 19, 2026 at the MADO Healthcare-Uptown. He was born April 23, 1958 in Chicago, Illinois to Eugene T. and Doris E. (Enzenbacher) Gianotti. A lifelong Chicago resident he was a devoted Chicago Cubs fan, a talented artist and a man with a memory like a sieve. Unfortunately, he was a troubled soul ravaged by mental illness. He will be missed by his many friends at MADO who expressed how much they cared for him and how his quick Chicago/Italian humor endured all to become one of his many friends.

Survivors include his 2 sisters Janice M. Zakis and Joyce A. Foley.

He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother James C. Gianotti

Services will be private and he will be entered in the family lot at Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Hillside.
