Daniel Genaro Ramirez

Daniel Genaro Ramirez, age 42 affectionately known as Danny, passed away on Friday, April 19, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of love, courage, and resilience. Born on September 14, 1981 in Chicago, to Francisco and Bonnie (Massey) Ramirez. Danny touched the lives of many with his warmth and kindness.

Throughout his life, Danny found solace and purpose in his family. He is survived by his devoted wife, Susana Guerrero, his children, Antonio, Nathan, Ximena Ramirez, and granddaughter Giulietta Ramirez.

Danny's family extended beyond his immediate household, encompassing his grandfather, Genaro Ramirez, his mother, Bonnie Ramirez, and his siblings: Christina Grocki, John Massey, Rosanna Gonzalez, Erika Rodriguez, Ariana Ramirez, Carlos Ramirez, and Bertha Ramirez. Their unwavering love and support sustained him through life's challenges.

A dedicated entrepreneur, Danny poured his passion into his garage repair and build business. His craftsmanship was unmatched, and his commitment to mentoring others in the industry was a testament to his generosity of spirit. He found fulfillment in helping others succeed and was deeply respected by all who had the privilege of working with him.

In addition to his professional pursuits, Danny found joy in spending time with his family and indulging in his love for barbecuing. These simple pleasures brought him immense happiness and created cherished memories that will be treasured by all who knew him.

Despite his battle with pancreatic cancer, Danny faced each day with strength and dignity. His courage in the face of adversity was an inspiration to all who knew him, and his legacy of resilience will continue to live on.

As we mourn the loss of Danny, let us also celebrate the beautiful life he lived and the profound impact he made on those around him. May his memory be a source of comfort and strength, and may he rest in peace knowing that he was deeply loved and will be forever remembered.

A memorial mass will be celebrated on Friday, May 3, 2024 11:00 A.M. at Our Lady of Nazareth Catholic Church, 11128 South Avenue G, Chicago, IL 60617. Rev. Walter Yepes, celebrant. Interment will be private.
