Darlene Mildred (Young) Pellettiere

Darlene Mildred Pellettiere of Round Lake Beach 

Darlene Mildred Pellettiere, nee Young, 83, passed away Thursday, December 19, 2024, at her residence. She was born November 12, 1941 in Chicago, IL, to John and Mildred Young. On Nov. 14, 1959, she married Rocci John Pellettiere at St. John the Baptist Church in Chicago.  Prior to Rocci's passing they celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. Darlene and Rocci have lived in Round Lake Beach since 1959. Darlene was a team services assistant for over 12 years at the Winchester House in Libertyville. She was a loving, caring and kind wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend to all.  She will be greatly missed by her family. Her family was the focus of her life and meant everything to her. 

Darlene is survived by sons; John (Deborah) Pellettiere of Lake Villa, James (Kristina) Pellettiere of Grayslake and Timothy (Sandra) of Round Lake Beach; grandchildren, the late Kaitlyn (Tino) Krastev Pellettiere, Christopher, Cheyenne, Rocci, Anthony and Haley (Raul) Del Valle; great grandson: Timothy Pellettiere, and many nieces and nephews; and many friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Rocci, her parents; John and Mildred Young, granddaughter Kaitlyn Krastev, and sister; JoAnne DeLaurentis.

Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until time of chapel services at 12 Noon on Saturday, December 28, 2024 at Symonds Lake Funeral Home, 111 W. Belvidere Rd, Grayslake, IL 60030.  Rev. Lisle Kauffman, Officiating. Interment will be in Avon Centre Cemetery, Grayslake.
