DeAnn Marie Kaesler

DeAnn Marie Kaesler, age 56 went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday evening, June 2, 2021 surrounded by her loving family at their Lake Bluff home.  She was born May 1, 1965 in Highland Park to the union of Robert J. and Susan (Ori) Smith and was raised in Highland Park. She graduated from Highland Park High School, class of 1983.  On April 6, 1999 she met Tom Kaesler, her soul mate and got married to him on September 23, 2000. She was a dedicated 20 year employee of the Maritz Global Events, St. Louis, MO. as a registration specialist.  DeAnn was a fanatic Chicago sports fan cheering on the Bears, Hawks, Cubs and Bulls but the most important to her was her family, she was a devoted and awesome wife, mother, daughter, sister and an amazing friend.  DeAnn was a devoted person who gave of herself selflessly, always with a smile on her face and always willing to help.

Beloved wife of Thomas James Kaesler, Jr. Loving mother of Christopher (Cara) Habjan of Skokie and Marc Habjan of Longmont, CO. Devoted daughter of Robert and Susan Smith of Highland Park. Dear sister of James Smith of Lake Villa, Joseph (Tina) Smith of Henderson, NV and Tracey (David) Fontana of Lake Bluff. Cherished aunt to many.

Memorial visitation Monday, June 7, 2021 from 9:00 A.M. until time of Memorial Mass 10:00 A.M. at Immaculate Conception Church, 770 Deerfield Road, Highland Park. Rev. Michael McMahon, celebrant. Entombment will follow at Ascension Cemetery, 1920 Buckley Road, Libertyville, Illinois.
