Donald Francis Oetker

Donald Francis Oetker, 80, passed away July 31, 2021, at the Condell Medical Center of Libertyville, IL, he was born February 3, 1941, in Marshalltown, IA, and was the youngest child of four born to the union of Henry and Anna Oetker, Don was an award wining pharmaceutical salesman for over 25 years and retired from Akorn Limited, he was a prolific gardener, and was involved in the local community of progressive politics. Don is survived by his wife of 16 years, Katherine "Kathy" Oetker (nee Davis) of Round Lake Beach; 2 children; 2 step-daughters, 5 grandchildren; 3 brothers; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Friends may visit with the family at their home from 3:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. Saturday, August 7, 2021, in Round Lake Beach, IL. Contact Kathy for directions. Please omit flowers.
