Edward Beiersdorf Obituary

Edward Robert Beiersdorf, 82, of Lincolnshire and formerly of Chicago, IL passed away October 14, 2023 at the Radford Green of Lincolnshire. He was born September 25, 1941 and was the younger of two children born to the union of Robert and Beulah Beiersdorf. Edward was a 40+ year retired Sheet Metal Worker, Union Local 73 member of Chicago, IL.

Ed is survived by his wife of 59 years, Diane Beiersdorf nee: Pulaski of Lincolnshire, his sons; William (MaryBeth) Beiersdorf of Arlington Heights, Robert (Sharyn) Beiersdorf of Buffalo Grove, and Kenneth of Bemidji, MN, his grandchildren; Brittani (Justin) Samuel, William Beiersdorf, Christopher Beiersdorf, Matthew Beiersdorf, Lauren Beiersdorf, and Drew Beiersdorf, great granddaughters; Ali and Maci Samuel. He was preceded in death by his parents Robert and Beulah Beiersdorf, and his sister; Claire (the late Richard) Fizz.

Edward, affectionately known as “Grumpy”, always had an open door and a seat at the table for friends and neighbors alike. His mischievous humor never failed to make you laugh. His favorite place to be was “Up North” at the lake. He was a hard-working, devoted family man who would help you in any way needed. Ed will be greatly missed by all.

Interment will be held private.
