Elizabeth Vega, age 76, of Berwyn, Illinois peacefully passed away on Thursday, September 28, 2023 at home.She was born on January 19, 1947 in Raymondville, Texas. Daughter of Sylvia and Porfirio Pedraza and sister of Veronica Vinasco. Elizabeth raised her family and retired from Illinois Bell.

Beloved mother to, Veronica Vega, Adam Vega, Virginia and Carlos Mateo and Anwar Vega. Grandmother to Thomas Vega, Samantha Vega, Michael Sanchez and Karina Castellanos, Matthew Vega, Elizabeth "LeeLee" Sanchez, Richard Sanchez, Anthony Vega, Christopher Yarbrough, Sammy Vega, Jazmin Vega, Jesse Vega, Jacob Vega and Adonis Vega. Great grandmother to 8.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 3, 2023 from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Richard Midway Funeral Home, 5749 South Archer Avenue, Chicago, Illinois 60638. Interment will be private.
