Felipa Vaquero-Saav

Felipa Vaquero-Saav, age 89 of Chicago passed away on Monday, January 3, 2022 at Evanston Hospital. She was born August 23, 1932 in Havana, Cuba to the union of Salvador Vaquero and Orocia Saavedra. She immigrated to Chicago on August 17, 1959. She worked extremely hard to make a good life for her family here in the United States working many different jobs from Factories where she was an assembler to candy factories in Chicago.

She is survived by her 2 daughters Zulma Feliciano-Vaquero and Mercedes Feliciano-Vaquero and many nieces and nephews

She is preceded in death by her husband Dolores Feliciano-Maisonet and 4 siblings Alicia Saavedra, Amado Vaquero, Ricardo Vaquero and Angela Vaquero.

Interment Chapel Service will be on Monday, January 10, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. at All Saints Cemetery, 700 River Road, Des Plaines, Illinois. Interment will follow out on the cemetery grounds.
