Fernando Correa Jimenez Obituary

53 years of Waukegan died Tuesday, February 9, 2021, at Vista Medical Center, East, Waukegan, Illinois. Fernando was born on September 17, 1967 in Maravatio, Michoacan, Mexico, the son of Jose Correa Garcia and Catalina Jimenez Dominguez. Fernando is survived by his beloved brothers and sisters: J Jesus Correa Jimenez, Gustavo Correa Jimenez, Gisela Correa Jimenez, Amelia Correa Jimenez, Ignacio Correa Jimenez, Omar Correa Jimenez, and the youngest is sister Liliana Correa Jimenez and his large extended loving family in Fernando’s family most of whom reside back in Maravatio, Michoacan, Mexico.

 

Fernando emigrated to the United States in 1990 and established Waukegan as his hometown. He worked for almost three decades for the Sunset Grocery Store in Lake Forest, Illinois where he was respected and loved by both colleagues and customers alike. One of his favorite pastimes was being a disc jockey playing music from the disco era. His with his favorite actor John Travolta in the 1974 movie “Saturday Night Fever”. Fernando is undeniably also a devoted fan of the favorite famous Mexican soccer team “Cruz Azul” where he’s often seen by wearing their distinctive blue jersey with white cross.

53 años de Waukegan murieron el martes 9 de febrero de 2021 en Vista Medical Center, East, Waukegan, Illinois. Fernando nació el 17 de septiembre de 1967 en Maravatio, Michoacán, México, hijo de José Correa García y Catalina Jiménez Domínguez. A Fernando le sobreviven sus queridos hermanos y hermanas: J Jesús Correa Jiménez, Gustavo Correa Jiménez, Gisela Correa Jiménez, Amelia Correa Jiménez, Ignacio Correa Jiménez, Omar Correa Jiménez, y la hermana menor Lililana Correa Jiménez y su familia extensa en la familia de Fernando, la mayoría de los cuales residen en México,  

 

Fernando emigró a los Estados Unidos en 1990 y estableció Waukegan como su ciudad natal. Trabajó durante casi tres décadas para la tienda Sunset Grocery Store en Lake Forest, Illinois, donde fue respetado y amado tanto por colegas como por clientes. Uno de sus pasatiempos favoritos era ser un disc jockey tocando música de la era disco. Con su actor favorito John Travolta en la película de 1974 "Saturday Night Fever". Fernando es innegablemente también un devoto fanático del famoso equipo de fútbol mexicano favorito "Cruz Azul" donde a menudo se le ve usando su distintiva camiseta azul con cruz blanca.
