Froilan Figueroa Coronel

Froilan Figueroa Coronel, age 50 of Highland Park, passed away on Monday, November 29, 2021 at home in Highland Park, Illinois. He was born April 26, 1971 in Quetzalapa, Guerrero, Mexico to the union of Eulalio and Albina (Coronel) Figueroa. He devoted 16 years at Exmoor Country Club in landscape maintenance. Froilan was known as a hardworking, goofy, dedicated, caring, and loving father, son, and brother. With cars being his fascination, he dedicated most of his time to fixing and cleaning his own. He also enjoyed kicking back and and drinking a few beers with his buddies as his pastime. Froilan was remembered for his participation in many family events and activities such as celebrating both his daughter's Quinceañeras, visiting and relaxing with his mother in Mexico, and traveling with his sister from Morelos to Quetzalapa to visit their grandfather. 

Beloved father of Yareli and Gisselle Figueroa. Cherished son to late Eulalio and Albina (Coronel) Figueroa of Quetzalapa, Guerrero, Mexico. Dear brother of Estela Figueroa (Reveriano Vergara). Fond Uncle to Miriam, Blanca, Sebastian, and many more. Loving Nephew to many aunts, uncles and loving cousin to many.  

Visitation Monday, December 6, 2021 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Seguin & Symonds Funeral Home, 858 Sheridan Road, Highwood. Visitation continues Tuesday, December 7, at St. James Church from 12:00 pm until time of funeral mass at 1:00 pm. Rev. Tom Baldonieri officiating. Interment will follow at Ascension Catholic Cemetery, Libertyville, Illinois.
