Ioan Serb

Ioan Serb, age 73 of Chicago passed away on Saturday, August 3, 2024 at Illinois Masonic Medical Center, Chicago. He was born July 20, 1951 in Pescari, Arad, Romania to the union of Pavel and Losana Serb. In September of 1974 he married Lenuta Bota and the family immigrated to the United States in 1983 to Atlanta. Ioan was a truck driver and an avid soccer fan. He was a fan of many soccer clubs, including CFR Cluj.

Dear son of the late Pavel Serb and Iosana Serb. Beloved husband of the late Lenuta. Loving father of Angelica Gustainis of Arad, Romania, Marius Serb of Arad, Romania, Paolo Serb of Chicago and Adriano Serb of Chicago. Fond grandfather of Claudia and Sarah Serb, Gabriella and Lillian Gustainis, and Arthur Tyber Serb.

Funeral services are private, interment will be in All Saints Cemetery, Des Plaines, Illinois
