Jacqueline R. Walker passed away on March 24, 2024, at the age of 85 in Highland Park, IL. She was born on February 18, 1939, in Sant' Anna Pelago Modena, Italy to the union of Angelo and Ida (Ori) Bernardi.
Jacqueline was a dedicated registered nurse before pursuing her masters in psychology, where she utilized her expertise to help countless patients.
She was a woman who stayed true to herself and her love for family. Jacqueline found joy in travel, movies, games, and spontaneity. She also valued education and fulfilled her dreams in nursing and psychology.
Jacqueline is survived by her sister, Rica (Ennio) Lenzi; daughters, Lorraine Carani, Deborah (Ronald) Workman, Barbara (David) Werhane; grandchildren, Delaney Workman, Brock (Ellie) Workman, Ron (Moira) Workman, Megan (Brian) Boos, Amanda Werhane, Ryan (Emily) Werhane, and Kendall Werhane; as well as 7 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband and soulmate, Troy Walker, and her parents Angelo and Ida Bernardi.

The funeral arrangements are entrusted to Symonds Funeral Home, located at 858 Sheridan Rd., Highwood, IL.
Jacqueline will be dearly missed by all who knew her, and her memory will forever live on in the hearts of those she touched.
