Jerome "Jerry" Preston

Jerome "Jerry" R. Preston, 75, of Ingleside, IL, passed away March 21, 2022 at the Aurora Medical Center of Kenosha, WI. Jerry was born March 19, 1947 in Waukegan, IL, and was the 2nd child of four born to the union of George and Fern Preston. Jerry was a Tool and Die man by trade for over 50 years, he had a love and passion for flying and even owned his own plane. Although a quiet man, his personality did shine through during his rare zinger commentary on life’s situations. He enjoyed fishing with his grandchildren and celebrating life’s moments with family. Besides planes, his love of american muscle cars started in his teens and continued throughout his lifetime.
Jerry is survived by his wife of 45 years Frances L. Preston of Ingleside, his daughter Robyn (David) Tower of Hartford, WI, his  grandchildren; Kyle and Alexis Tower of Hartford, WI, his sister; Joan Mayer of Republic, MO, and many nieces, and nephews, preceded in death by his son Russell Young, and his sisters; Joyce Stollings and Jill Deau.
