Joel G Freebairn

Joel G. Freebairn, 63, of Wauconda, IL, passed away suddenly Wednesday, October 27, 2021 at the Advocate Good Shepherd of Barrington, He was born June 27, 1958 in Pittsburg, PA, and was the youngest of three boys born to union of Thomas and Jo Anne Freebairn, Joel was a life long resident of Pittsburg until 2015, Joel loved sports from playing high school football to the Pittsburg Stealers and the Penguins.

Joel is survived by his brothers; Scott (Debra) Freebairn of Hawthorn Woods, and Thomas (Starlene) Freebairn of Phoenix, AZ, his nieces, and nephews; Janie (Logan Reed of Libertyville, IL, Stacey (Sterling) Geasey of Ft. Wayne, IN, Joel  (Katie) Freebairn of Phoenix, AZ, Brian Freebairn of Phoenix, AZ, and Nathan Freebairn of Phoenix, AZ, and many great nieces, and great nephews, preceded in death by his parents Thomea and Jo Anne Freebairn.

Interment of Joel cremains will be held private at the St. John’s Episcopal Church, Royal Oak, MI, arrangements were entrusted to the Symonds Lakes Funeral Home of Grayslake, IL, for additional information please contact the funeral home 847-543-1080.
