John Walter Reid
February 6, 1945 - December 21, 2025
John Reid was a loving husband, supportive father and grandfather, courageous veteran, great ambassador for the sport of curling, and professional procrastinator. John always made time to be there for others attending their sports events, art shows, theater performances, curling games, and any other events his kids and grandkids were involved in. He was a lover of wrestling, golf, curling, bonspiels, and animals, especially dogs. John acted as a second father to his three daughters-in-law and loved them like his own. He was always genuinely happy to see you and loved sitting down for some drinks, jokes and stories. People from all walks of life will remember John’s impact on their lives for years to come. John enjoyed life to the fullest and would encourage you to do the same.
Beloved husband to Elizabeth D. Reid. Loving Father to his sons and wives – Michael and Margaret Reid, Thomas and Akima Reid and James and Kristina Reid. Dear Grandfather to Ian Reid, Shadow Reid, Ava Reid, Addison Reid, MJ Reid and Riley Reid.
