Jose David Duran Martinez

Jose David Duran Martinez, age 56 of Highland Park passed away on Tuesday, March 7, 2023 in Evanston, Illinois. He was born April 29, 1966 in Celaya, Guanajuato, Mexico the third child of eight born to the union of Jaime Duran and Teresa Martinez. He immigrated to the United States in 1993 and married Irma Sotelo on August 10, 2019 at St. James Church, Highwood.  He worked for the Renaissance Chicago North Shore Hotel in Northbrook.

Beloved husband of Irma Sotelo of Highland Park. Loving father of Maria Fernanda Duran and Antonio Duran both of Highland Park. Dear brother of Jaime (Marta) Duran, Lourdes (Vicente) Vega, Gabriella Duran, Veronica Duran, Roberto Duran and Carmela (Juan) Rodriguez all of Celaya, Mexico and Mario A. Escamilla of Highland   Park.

Visitation Friday, March 10, 2023 from 4:00 to 9:00 PM at the Seguin & Symonds Funeral Home, 858 Sheridan Road, Highwood. Funeral mass celebrated on Saturday, March 11, 2023 10:00 A.M. at St. James Church, 134 North Avenue, Highwood. Interment will be in Celaya, Guanajuato, Mexico.
