Juan Jose Garcia

Juan Jose Garcia, age 84, of Northbrook, passed away peacefully, knowing he was loved and adored by his family, on Saturday, October 19, 2024, at his home. Born on February 8, 1940, in Almoloya de Juarez, Mexico, he was the son of Juan Jose and Javiera (Sanchez) Garcia. In 1971, Juan immigrated to the United States in search of a better life for his family.

Through hard work and determination, he built a successful life, establishing businesses including Garcia Landscaping and Jose's Cleaning Services, which not only thrived but also provided opportunities for many in the community. A charismatic man and a pillar of his neighborhood, Juan was known for his generosity and kindness.

Above all, he was a devoted father and grandfather, cherished by his family. He is survived by his daughter, Juana Marisol Garcia, and five adored grandchildren: Jean-Pierre, Jean-Paul, Jean-Joseph, Jeanne-Nazareth, and Jean Jesuite.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 24, 2024, from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Seguin & Symonds Funeral Home, 858 Sheridan Road, Highwood. Family and friends will gather for a funeral mass on Friday, October 25, 2024, at 9:00 AM at Saint Catherine Laboure Catholic Church, 3535 Thornwood Avenue, Glenview, Illinois, with Rev. Isaac Lara as Celebrant. Interment will follow at Maryhill Cemetery, 8600 N. Milwaukee Ave., Niles, IL.

Juan Jose Garcia will be remembered for his indomitable spirit, unwavering love for his family, and the lasting impact he made on his community.
