Lindon Lockheart, age 81, of Chicago, Illinois, passed away on November 30, 2025.
Born on April 6, 1944, in Alabama, Lindon eventually made her home in Chicago, where she raised her family and served her community.
Above all else, Lindon was defined by her unwavering faith.
She was a devout Christian who loved Jesus Christ with all her heart. Her life was a testament to her beliefs, and she was known for her deep dedication to her church. Lindon never missed an opportunity to share the Good News; whether with family, friends, or strangers, she felt called to share the Word of God with everyone she met. Her spiritual strength and love for the Lord were an inspiration to all who knew her.
She is survived by her loving children: Ronald, Sandra, William, Cynthia, Susan. She was preceded in death by her son, Joseph. She leaves behind a legacy of faith that will live on through her family.

A private service will be held at a later date to celebrate her life and her homegoing.
