Luz Elena Castro Hernandez Moreno of Waukegan, Illinois was 51 years old. Luz passed away on October 21, 2023, due to a disease known as "Huntington's Disease". Luz was born on October 25, 1972 in San Luis Potosí, Mexico. She is the daughter of María Hernández and José Isabel Castro. Luz was one of the youngest daughters. Luz was one of eleven brothers and sisters, starting with the eldest: Gregorio (deceased), Socorro (deceased) (Liborio), Juana (Maximino Limón), Ezequiel (María de la Luz), Ramón (Florinda), Jorge (María Luisa), Adelaida (Melchor), Leticia, Margarita (Jesús), and José Orlando. She studied until high school in San Luis Potosi, Mexico. Since she was a child, Luz gave herself and dedicated herself to her Catholic faith.

In 1988, Jose Luis Moreno and Luz Elena Castro Hernandez got married and formed a sweet home. Luz Elena and Jose Luis had 5 children: Karina, Anayeli, Gloria, Luis, and Alexander forming a beautiful family. In addition, God sent her the blessing of being a grandmother. Luz loved her grandchildren. Osmar Carbajal, Ashley Albañil , Kimberly Albañil, Estrella Moreno, Noemi Carbajal, Isabella Moreno and Zoey Albañil. She gladly dedicated her life to being a stay-at-home mom and taking care of her family. Luz was a devout Catholic.

She devoted much of his free time to the church. She was a parishioner at Holy Family Church in Waukegan. Luz had many other favorite pastimes such as going to enjoy her favorite restaurant, which is McDonalds, watching the episodes of the Rose of Guadalupe, her favorite dish was always mole, vacationing, and serving in the parish of the Holy Family. There is no doubt that her greatest happiness was being with her loved ones.

Luz Elena Castro Hernandez Moreno, de Waukegan, Illinois y tenía 51 años de edad. Luz fallecio el 21 de octubre de 2023, por causa de una enfermaded conocida como “Huntington’s Disease”. Luz nació en el 25 de octubre de 1972 en San Luis Potosí, México. Hija de union de Maria Hernandez y Jose Isabel Castro. Luz era una de las hijas menores. Luz era una de once   hermanos y hermanas, empezando con el mayor: Gregorio (fallecido), Socorro (fallecido) (Liborio), Juana (Maximino Limon), Ezequiel (Maria de la Luz), Ramon (Florinda), Jorge (Maria Luisa), Adelaida (Melchor), Leticia, Margarita (Jesus), y Jose Orlando. Ella estudió hasta la secundaria en san luis potosi, Mexico. Luz, desde pequeña se entrego y se dedico a su fe Católica.

En 1988, Jose Luis Moreno y Luz Elena Castro Hernandez se casaron y formando un dulce hogar. Luz Elena y Jose Luis tuvieron 5 hijos: Karina, Anayeli, Gloria, Luis y Alexander formando una hermosa familia. Adicional, Dios le mando la bendición de ser abuela. Luz amaba a sus nietos. Osmar Carbajal, Ashley Albañil, Kimberly Albañil, Estrella Moreno, Noemi Carbajal, Isabella Moreno y Zoey Albañil. Ella gustosamente dedicó su vida a ser ama de casa y cuidar de su familia. Luz era católica. Amaba su religión. Dedicó mucho de su tiempo libre a la iglesia. Ella era feligrés de la iglesia Sagrada Familia de Waukegan. Luz tenia muchos otros pasatiempos favoritos como ir a disfrutar su restaurante favorito que es el McDonalds, ver los episodios de la Rosa de Guadalupe, platillo favorito siempre era el mole, vacacionar, servir en la parroquia de la Sagrada Familia. No hay duda de su mayor felicidad  fue estar contenta a lado de su seres queridos.
