Madeline Antonia Pasquesi

Madeline Antonia Pasquesi née: Haiz formerly of Highwood, Illinois, passed away peacefully at her home with her family by her side in Reno, Nevada on April 17, 2026 at the age of 98.

Born October 31, 1927 in Glencoe, Illinois to Minnie Rizzolo and Chris Haiz. She grew up in Highland Park and attended Ravinia Grade School and Highland Park High School. On September 10, 1949 she married Angelo Pasquesi at St. James Church, Highwood. She was an active member and volunteer at St. James Church and School.

Beloved wife to the late Angelo Pasquesi, loving mother of the late John Gregory Pasquesi (Debbie), Susan (William) Santello of Highland Park, Mark (Judy) Pasquesi of Libertyville, and Donna “Mitzie” (Dean) Schlauch of Reno, Nevada.

Dear Grandma “Smalls” to Louie (Mia) Santello, Nicole (Ben) Geres, Renee (Greg) Wodzien, Gina (Brady) Ballard, Sara (Tyler) Price, Marci (Tony) Klauer, Jodi (Dustin) Neuenschwander, Kelly (Brandon) Valine, Andy (Hannah) Pasquesi, Chrissie (Mike) McCourt.

Great Grandma, also affectionately known as “Grandma Great” to her 23 great-grandchildren: Madeline, Connor, Grace, Daniel, Michael & William; Dash, Hannah, Mark, Lauren, Whitney, Paul, Walter & Warren; Evan, Kate, Courtney, Claire & Andrew; Eloise, John, Caroline & John.

Dear sister of the late Frank (late Doris) Smaniotto, Nancy (Phillip) Petty, late Donald (late Frances) Rizzolo. A loving and devoted aunt to many nieces and nephews, who held a special place in her heart. She deeply valued her friends and found great joy and laughter in the time they shared.

Visitation Sunday, May 10, 2026 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at the Symonds Funeral Home, 858 Sheridan Road, Highwood. Funeral Mass celebrated 10:00 AM Monday, May 11, 2026 at St. James Church, 134 North Avenue, Highwood. Friends may gather from 9:00 to 10:00 AM at the church. Interment following at Ascension Catholic Cemetery, 1920 Buckley Road, Libertyville.
