Maria V. Volpi nee: Cervetti, age 92 of Highwood passed away on Thursday, October 7, 2021 at Glenbrook Hospital, Glenview, Illinois. Born March 28, 1929 in Frassinoro, Modena, Italy to the union of Giacomo and Domenica (Lavacchielli). She immigrated to the United States to Highwood on June 16, 1967 where she made her new home.

Beloved wife of the late Livio Volpi in Italy. Loving mother of Paola Perrelli of Highwood. Fond YaYa of Ferruccio (Samantha) Perrelli, Jr. of Lake Bluff and Maurizio Perrelli of Highwood. Great YaYa of Virginia James Perrelli and Ava Farryn Perrelli. Fond zia of John Ghizzoni of Highwood and Dear sister of the late Ada Stefani.

Services are private. Interment will be at Ascension Cemetery, Libertyville, Illinois
