Mearle Grenot was born April 14, 1924 to Charles Sr., and Helen White in Chicago, Illinois. Mearlle was affectionately called “Auntie” by her loving family. She was married to Fredrick Grenot who preceded her death. She was also preceded in death by her parents, her daughter, Vera White, sister, Helen Jones, and two brothers, Charles, and Leonard. Auntie lived to see 99 years young and is survived by her grandson David (Sharon), great grandchildren Greg, “Lil David” and Felicia and a host of great great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Auntie loved her family and was deeply loved by her family. She was a superior cook, but above anything else, she loved God. She not only talked but she walked it!! She was a passionate member of Roberts Temple Church of God In Christ (C.O.G.I.C.).
Auntie will be extremely missed and forever loved. Her family takes great rest in knowing that she is rejoicing with the angels in heaven!!
