Michael James Moline, age 63 of Elmwood Park passed away on Thursday, November 25, 2021 at Gottlieb Memorial Hospital, Melrose Park, Illinois. He was born May 24, 1958 in Chicago, Illinois to the union of James Ronald and Justine (Bredsen) Moline. He attended Luther North High School and Roosevelt High School, class of 1976. On August 7, 1978 he married Nancy Connell at Tabor Lutheran Church, Chicago. Michael worked with his father at Ameralloy in Morton Grove, then on to owning his own computer business. He changed carrer to security where he was a security guard for Bantek and then he became a truck driver. Currently he was following his passion of fishing and owning his own business "Streamside Furled Leaders" specializing in tenkara fly fishing. Michael was a man of many hobbies, ham radio operator and was the secretary of one of the local clubs. photography, model rail roads, archery and a member of an archery club, and he started Cougars Compound an online bulletin board in the early 90's before Google. Michael was an avid foodie "He lived to eat" but most important was he was a friend to all, to meet Michael, you had an instant friend. He knew no stranger, if you didn't know him, you soon would, everyone was his friend. He was generous and kind and would give you the shirt off of his back if you were in need. He was famous for bringing home strays, from people to pets, if they need a place to lay their head, he had a couch for you.

Dear brother of Michelle Daniel of Elmwood Park. Cherished uncle of Jacqueline Fagerholm, Jessica Daniel and Jaymee Daniel. Longtime companion of Kathie Lanhardt Musson and family. Proud pet lover of his fur babies, Twiggie, Baby, Inkie, Mutley, Boobo, Pookie and Honey.
Visitation Wednesday, December 1, 2021 from 4:00 PM until time of funeral service 7:30 PM at the Seguin & Symonds Funeral Home, 858 Sheridan Road, Highwood. Rev. Sean Stevenson, pastor of Elmwood Park Community Church, officiating. Cremation will be private.
