Mihai Corsei, age 90 of Elmwood Park passed away on Saturday, July 24, 2021 at Swedish Covenant Hospital, Chicago. He was born September 5, 1930 in Hanesti, Botosani, Romania the sixth child of eight born to the union of Ion and Dochita Corsei. He was an orphan at the age of 14 when his parents passed away and was raised by his sibling. On October 16, 1954 in Avrameni, Botosani, Romania he married Mandita Pahon and the happy couple started their family. He immigrated to The United States of America in 1991, two years after the Romanian Revolution and was re-united with his family who immigrated before him. Mihai was a man of strong christian faith and principles. His love and devotion to Jesus Christ was the center of his life, and he lived each and every day for his savior.

Visitation on Thursday, July 29, 2021 from 5:00 until time of an evening service at 7:00 P.M. Funeral services Friday, July 30, 2021 10:00 A.M. at the Romanian Christian Gospel Assembly, 6739 West Montrose Avenue, Harwood Heights, Illinois. Interment will follow at Acacia Park Cemetery, 7800 West Irving Park Road, Norridge, Illinois.
