Oltea Coropca, age 64, of Chicago, Illinois passed away on Thursday, October 6, 2022 at her home. She was born on April 30, 1958 in Siret Suceava, Romania to the union of Vasile and Teofila Costiuc. She was educated in Romania and worked as the secretary for the headquarters of the Brethren Church of Romania. She married Ioan Coropca on November 1, 1977 in Bucharest, Romania. Together they immigrated to the United States of America in 1985, first residing in New Hampshire then moving to Chicago, Illinois.

Beloved wife of Ioan Coropca. Loving mother of the late Emanuel Coropca on May 15, 2005, Denisa (Dan) Veja of Libertyville, IL, Gabriel (Catalina) Coropca of Schaumburg, IL, Christine (Levi) Vizitiu of Schaumburg, IL. Cherished grandmother of Grace Veja, Jeremy Veja, Faith Veja, Liora Vizitiu, Liam Vizitiu, Evelyn Coropca, and Anna Coropca. Dear sister to the late Mihai (Silvia) Costiuc of Romania, the late Nicolae (Brindusa) Costiuc of Chicago, George (Mica) Costiuc of Chicago, IL, and Dorel (Vera) Costiuc of Chicago IL. Dear aunt to many nieces and nephews.

Visitation, Monday, October 10, 2022, at 5:00 P.M. until time of service at 7:00 P.M. at Bethany Romanian Pentecostal Church, 7301 N Caldwell Ave, Niles, IL 60714. The following morning Tuesday, October 11, 2022 a visitation will take place at 9:00 A.M. until time of funeral service at 10:00 A.M. at Bethany Romanian Pentecostal Church, 7301 N Caldwell Ave, Niles, IL 60714. Internment following service at Acacia Park Cemetery 7800 Irving Park Rd., Norridge, IL 60706.
