Patricia Lynn (Hindmarsh) LaPorta

Patricia Lynn LaPorta, nee; Hindmarsh, 78 of Grayslake, IL, passed away peacefully Tuesday, May 21, 2024 at the Condell Medical Center, She was born December 19, 1945 in London, Ontario, Canada, and was the oldest of four children born to the union of Douglas and Paulina Hindmarsh, Patricia was a resident of Grayslake, IL for over 55 years, with her husband Dr. Michael Laporta, Patricia and Michael were the owners of several business in Town, Grayslake TruValue Hardware, Reed Hill Florist of Grayslake, and DeStefano & LaPorta Dental.

Patricia is survived by her children; Laura (Harry) Ehorn of Lake Villa, Michael (Anna) LaPorta of Lake Villa, and David (Rebecca) LaPorta of Wonder Lake, Her grandchildren; Harry, Zachary, and Luke Ehorn, Rosalia, Atticus, and Aurora LaPorta, Her brother; James Hindmarsh of Alisa Craig, Ontario, Canada, Her nieces Sarah (Scott) Carlyle, and Rebecca Vant, and a host of great nieces, and nephews. Preceded in death by her Husband of 39 years Dr. Michael LaPorta, Her parents; Douglas and Paulina Hindmarsh, Her brothers; Kevin Hindmarsh and Clive (the late Mary) Hindmarsh.

Memorial visitation will be held 3:00 P.M. until time of services at 5:00 P.M. Saturday, June 22, 2024 at the Symonds Lakes Funeral Home 111 W. Belvidere Rd, Grayslake, IL 60030 Rev.
