Paul Raymond Chapman, age 50, of Skokie, passed away on Wednesday morning, January 14, 2026, at Highland Park Hospital.
Paul was born on February 3, 1975, in Justice, Illinois, to the union of Paul and Myrna Chapman. He was a graduate of Alan B. Shepard High School, District 218, in Palos Heights, Illinois. Dedicated to lifelong learning, Paul pursued higher education over many years, attending Kaplan University in the early 2000s through 2011, as well as Oakton College in Des Plaines, DePaul University in Chicago, the University of Chicago, and Loyola University.
Paul proudly served his country in the United States Army during Desert Storm. Following his military service, he built a career in computer technology, including work with the CIA. His passion for technology and helping others led him to start his own business, My PC Services, in Chicago, where he remains a co-owner today.
Outside of work, Paul had a wide range of interests. He enjoyed gaming, hunting, and music, and he especially dreamed of starting his own band. A guitarist at heart, Paul loved playing rock ’n’ roll and metal, finding joy and expression through music.
Above all else, Paul was a devoted family man who deeply loved his children and took great pride in them.
He is survived by his three children, Madison Chapman, Allyson Chapman, and Paul Chapman; many cousins, including Gloria Chapman, Amber Castleman, Bonnie Chapman, Sharon Chapman, Shaun Chapman, and Brittany Chapman; and his former partner, Rosa Zanger.
A memorial visitation will be held on Sunday, January 25, 2026, from 1:30 p.m. until the time of the memorial service at 3:00 p.m. at Seguin & Symonds Funeral Home, 858 Sheridan Road, Highwood, Illinois. Interment will be private.
