Paula Anaya Zuniga

Paula Anaya Zuniga, age 65 of Highwood passed away on Friday, December 31, 2021 at Glenbrook Hospital, Glenview. She was born June 18, 1956 in Huitzuico, Guerrero, Mexico to the union of Francisco Zuniga and Leonor Mata. She immigrated to Highwood from Mexico in 1978 to raise her family. Paula was a devoted wife and mother, her family was her everything. She was very social and has many loving and caring friends who will miss her terrably.

Loving mother of Rene (Olga) Anaya of Pasadina, Texas, Javier (Jessica) Anaya of Greendale, Wisconsin, Lenonor Anaya of Waukegan, the late Guadalupe Anaya on January 16, 2008, Jesus Anaya of Pflugerville, Texas, Felix Anaya of Highwood and Macario Anaya, Jr. of Highwood. Fond grandmother of Alyssa, Isabella, Izak and Gianna Anaya and Jesus Martinez. Dear sister of the late Leonardo (Marguerita) Zuniga of Cuernavaca, Mexico, Francisco (Josefina) Zuniga of Cape Coral, Florida, late Feliciano (Maria) Zuniga of Guanajuato, Mexico, late Jesus Zuniga and the late Rogelio Zuniga. Fond aunt of Feliciano Zuniga, Jr. of Waukegan, Francisco Zuniga and Juan Puga of Cape Coral, Florida

Visitation Thursday, January 13, 2022 from 4:00 to 9:00 P.M. Funeral Friday, January 14, 2022 10:00 A.M. at Seguin & Symonds Funeral Home, 858 Sheridan Road, Highwood. Deacon Luis Lara, celebrant. Interment will be at Ascension Cemetery, 1920 Buckley Road, Libertyville.
