Remedios R. Cruz, age 78 of Skokie passed away on Monday, April 22, 2024 in Evanston, Illinois. She was born December 21, 1945 in Manila, Philippines to the union Elpido and Ambrocia (Ramos) Cruz. She immigrated to the United States in 1975 for a better life.  Remedios always had a smile, her passion was music, especially music she could dance to which besides cooking were her favorite things to do.

Beloved wife of the late Carmelito. Loving mother of Geraldine Villamil of Skokie and Mimosa (late Angel) Enrico of Manila, Philippines. Fond grandmother of Rochella (Alex) Bonilla of Skokie, Ranvier Villamil of Skokie, Adriane (Aubrey) Enrico and Michelle Enrico all of Manila, Philippines. Great grandmother of Brianna Almquist and Stephen and Francis Enrico. Dear sister of Angelita Gonzalez.

Memorial Mass Saturday, May 4, 2024 10:00 A.M. at Saint Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 3653 Lyons St., Evanston, IL 60203. Rev. Kenneth Anderson, celebrant.
