Renzo Cecchi

Piero Lorenzo Cecchi, age 76 of Mundelein passed away on Friday, October 14, 2022 at Advocate Condell Medical Center, Libertyville. He was born April 23, 1946 in Barga, Tuscany, Italy to the union of Quinto and Anna Maria (Marchetti) Cecchi. He immigrated to the United States to Highwood, Illinois at the age of 9 with his family. He was a graduate of Highland Park High School, class of 1965 and on November 4, 1967 at the First Presbyterian Church of Lake Forest he married Catherine Anne Seccombe and the couple started their family. He was a member of the Highwood Bocce Ball court, he also enjoyed bowling, golf, and sketch art with his grand daughters. 

​Beloved Husband of Catherine. Loving father of Steven (Kim) Cecchi of Kenosha, WI and Brian (Carrie) Cecchi of Kenosha WI. Cherished Grand Bobby of Kacie Cecchi, Beau Cecchi, late Amanda Cecchi in 2015, Abigail Cecchi and Alyssa Cecchi. Dear sister of the late Vanda (Late Charles) Brown, Gabriella (Angelo) Facchini of Highwood, IL, Lucian (Marie) Cecchi of Mundeline, IL and Loretta (Late Franco) Lenzini of Gurnee, IL, with many nieces and nephews. 

Visitation Wednesday October 19, 2022 at 9:00 A.M. until time of mass at 10:00 A.M. at Saint James Church
134 North Ave, Highwood, IL 60040.

Interment following to Ascension Catholic Cemetery 1920 W Buckley Rd, Libertyville, IL 60048.
