Revell White, 87, of Park City, Illinois, passed away on Wednesday, February 11, 2026, at Condell Medical Center in Libertyville, Illinois.
Revell was born on August 13, 1938, in Cruger, Mississippi, to Elmo and Mary White. At the age of 13, he, his sister and his mother moved to Chicago, where he grew up and built his life. Revell spent much of his career as a driver and chauffeur, where he enjoyed his work and the people he met. Before retiring in 2009, he worked as a Pace bus driver in Northern Lake County, where he was known for his friendliness and ability to easily connect with people.
Revell will be remembered as a devoted partner, father, grandfather, and uncle. He shared 50 years with his beloved Dolores Merino of Park City. He is survived by his children: Bronson (Violet) Benson of Westchester, Illinois; Matthew White of Denver, Colorado; Rachel White of Asheville, North Carolina; and Anthony (Angelyn) Merino of Fox Lake, Illinois. He was a proud grandfather of six and a cherished uncle and great-uncle.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Elmo and Mary White and his sister Dorothy (Warren) Robinson.
Revell will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him.
A Celebration of Life will be held in July of 2026. Arrangements have been entrusted to Symonds Lakes Funeral Home of Grayslake. For additional information, please contact the funeral home at 847-543-1080.
