Ricardo Alvarez, 86, of Dallas TX, and formerly of Des Plaines, IL passed away peacefully on September 3, 2020 in Round Lake Beach, IL. He was born November 14, 1933 in San Salvador, El Salvador. He worked as a pressman at Multi Graphics of Mt. Prospect, IL for many years and after semi retiring decided to move to Dallas, TX. Ricardo is survived by his wife Haydee Alvarado of Hainesville, IL, his children: Myrna (Fred) Linares for Grayslake, IL, Claudia (Sergio) Castro of Angelholm, Sweden, Beatriz Alvarez of Hainesville, IL, Ricardo Alvarez of Hainesville, IL, and Melvin Alvarez of Hainesville, IL; Loving grandfather of: Christopher, Kevin, Kyle, Alexander, Richard, Erik, Alexander, Emily, and Angelina; brother Carlos (Lilian) Alvarez of San Salvador, El Salvador, three nieces and extended family. Interment was held privately. The Symonds Lakes Funeral Home of Grayslake was entrusted with arrangements. For additional information please contact the funeral home at 847-543-1080.
